I used to feel pain in my legs and that pain was getting worse when I walk. I thought it was normal, may be because of the effort or because I walked for long distance and this pain is natural due to muscle weakness or something.

I continued to use the painkillers for a long time, may be around four months, until the pain increased and became sharper that I cannot bear it anymore.

I decided to go to the doctor to know exactly what the problem is.

And the shock occurred! 

The doctor told me that I had a blood clot in the veins of my legs and that you should be admitted for an urgent surgery.

If I went to the doctor when the pain started, it wouldn’t need a surgery, I would take some medication like coagulants for the leg blood clot and it would solve the problem easily but I was too late.

The area of ​​the ankle and foot may appear pale due to low blood flow, which causes a change in skin color in the affected area and makes the foot feel cold.

5- Pain in the leg
The pain usually begins in the calf muscle, which is the back muscle of the leg and can feel cramps or sharp increasing pain especially during walking.

6- Swelling
Swelling can be a symptom of a blood clot in the leg and may occur in one or both legs so it is very painful when it is touched.

How to treat leg clots

In addition to prescribed medicines, your doctor may also recommend lifting the affected leg and wearing compression stockings to help reduce the symptoms of a thrombosis in the leg such as swelling and pain.
